Hacking the Emtec Movie Cube. The Moviecube is a network hard disk with media player capabilities. First thing I'll try to get working is mt-daapd. Other things I'd like to try on the Movie Cube are a bittorrent client, scheduled startups / shutdowns, etc. Maybe even some iPhone remote control abilities...

Got root ?
To get access to the moviecube, simply telnet to it's IP:
telnet <>
Next, enter "root" as username and ... BLAM you're in :-) Some security for all your precious files eh :-p
